Dr. Thomas is an orthopedic surgeon with Maverick County Hospital District’s Physician Specialty Group, joining the team in 2017. Since then, he has treated hundreds of patients dealing with sports injuries, bone fractures, and a wide spectrum of orthopedic conditions.

His clinical expertise has significantly elevated local orthopedic treatment options, allowing patients to access minimally invasive procedures previously unavailable in the region. Notably, in 2017, Dr. Thomas performed Fort Duncan Regional’s first-ever endoscopic carpal tunnel release surgery and introduced arthroscopic rotator cuff and labral repairs for shoulder injuries.
