Dr. Velez Garza earned his MD from Universidad de Monterrey in 2006 and completed his internal medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He is board- certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine. With over 19 years of experience, Dr. Velez Garza is known for his expertise in managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic health.
