Amanda Betancourt-Cortez, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant
specializing in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at Maverick
County Hospital District. She earned her Master’s in Physician
Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science
Center in 2016.
With over nine years of combined experience across nuclear
medicine, family medicine, hepatology, and orthopedics, Amanda
brings a well-rounded clinical background and a deep commitment
to patient care. She is known for her compassionate approach, clear
communication, and dedication to helping patients recover from
injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility.
Amanda is fluent in both English and Spanish and proudly serves
