Diabetes Education Program

Practical guidance for managing diabetes, improving nutrition, and living a healthier life

The Diabetes Education Program at Maverick County Hospital District provides guidance and support for individuals living with diabetes as well as those who want to improve their nutrition and overall health. Through education, lifestyle counseling, and personalized care plans, our goal is to help patients better understand diabetes, prevent complications, and develop healthier habits.

Our program focuses on practical tools such as healthy eating, physical activity, weight management, and blood sugar control to help individuals take an active role in their health and well-being.
